Emerald Lake Trail

🏞️ Today, we're off to Banff, but not before taking a stroll around the stunning Emerald Lake. Highly recommended by everyone, this gem is beautiful without being overly crowded. Just like its more famous counterpart, Lake Louise, Emerald Lake boasts milky blue (or emerald) waters. 🌊

We start our journey through an idyllic resort hotel, venturing into the woods, and spend hours meandering around the lake. The ground is a bit marshy, and there are quite a few people around, but it never feels too bothersome or busy. The weather is delightful, and the light is perfect for snapping photos. 📸 Finally, we find ourselves relaxing on a bench by the water, soaking up the sun, chatting away, enjoying the view, and munching on a chocolate bar to recharge. 🍫☀️
